The short version: order by December 12 and your letter arrives before Christmas or you get every penny back. Everything below is the fine print, and none of it has tricks in it.

Delivery

  • Letters are written by hand and mailed with a real stamp, first class, in a hand-addressed red envelope from Santa’s return address.
  • We mail anywhere in the US ($6.99 shipping on the free letter, included with the handwritten one), and the before-Christmas guarantee applies to US delivery. International orders are welcome, with free shipping on the handwritten letter, $9.99 shipping on the free printed letter, and no arrival date promised: once a letter leaves the country its timing belongs to two postal systems, so order early and expect a longer wait.
  • Letters can ship to any address you choose: your house, the grandkids’ house, wherever the child checks the mail. The delivery address is asked for separately in the order, so the billing address never has to match.
  • When it mails: orders placed September through November are written in advance and mailed the first week of December, timed so Santa’s mail arrives when it makes sense (and, bonus, long enough after you ordered that the letter surprises you too). Orders placed December 1-10 are mailed by December 14. Later orders are written and mailed as fast as human hands allow, without a Christmas promise.

The Before-Christmas Guarantee

Order by December 12 and the letter arrives before Christmas, or we refund you in full. No forms, no interrogation. Email us, we check the dates, and your money goes back to your original payment method.

After December 12 we keep writing and mailing every day, and most late letters still make it. But we won’t promise what late-December mail can’t guarantee, so after the 12th the guarantee pauses and honesty takes over.

If something goes wrong

  • Letter never arrived? Tell us. We check when and where it was sent, and if the mail lost it, we write and send a replacement free. If a replacement can’t realistically beat Christmas morning, we’ll say so straight and offer you the options rather than pretend.
  • Arrived damaged, or with a mistake that’s on us? Same answer: rewritten and resent free. Handwritten means a human, and humans occasionally need a do-over. We eat that cost, not you.
  • Typo in the details you gave us? Your confirmation email shows every name exactly as it will be written. Reply the moment you spot an error and we fix it before the pen touches paper. After a letter is written and mailed, we can’t unmail it, but talk to us anyway; we’re not monsters, it’s Christmas.

Cancellations

Changed your mind? Cancel within 14 days of placing your order for a full refund. No reason needed, no hoops. The last day to cancel this season is November 1. (Ordered before September 30, 2026? You keep the terms you bought under: cancel any time before November 1.)

Orders placed after November 1 are final. That’s when the pre-writing season begins: your letter stops being an order in a database and starts becoming a real object with real ink on it, and Santa doesn’t shred mail. (Something actually wrong with your order? That’s not a cancellation, that’s the section above, and we’ll make it right.)

Questions

A human reads and answers every email: contact us. That’s the whole policy. We’re a small company whose entire product is trust arriving in an envelope, and we act like it.
